01 / Start with the foundation

Proper Preparation Makes the Difference

A high-quality garage floor is only as good as the concrete underneath it.

Whenever conditions allow, we mechanically prepare garage floors using professional shot-blasting equipment. Shot-blasting removes weak surface material, contaminants and existing coatings while creating the proper concrete surface profile for the new flooring system to bond to.

Cracks, damaged areas, joints and other concrete imperfections are evaluated and repaired as required before the coating system is installed.

We don't rely on a quick acid wash or light surface treatment and then cover the concrete with coating. Our goal is to create a properly prepared substrate and build the flooring system from the concrete up.
